Die Synology HD6500 bietet in einem 4HE-Rack 60 Einschübe, welche mit Expansionseinheiten auf bis zu 300 Laufwerke erweiterbar sind. Damit ist es die ideale High-Density-Storage-Lösung für große Datenmengen, wie etwa vollständige Systemsicherungen, Video-Postproduktionen und große Videoüberwachungseinsätze. Die HD6500 ist so konzipiert, dass sie mit vier zusätzlichen RX6022sas-Erweiterungseinheiten auf das bis zu 5-fache der Kapazität skaliert werden kann. SAS-Multipath-fähige Konnektivität bietet doppelte typische Leistungen und erhöhte Redundanz.
