Es verfügt über acht DDR5-DIMM-Slots im Dual-Channel-Betrieb für bis zu 2 TB Arbeitsspeicher. Zur weiteren Ausstattung des ASRock W790 WS R2.0 gehören zwei PCIe-5.0-x16-Slots, zwei PCIe-5.0-x16-Slots (x8 Lanes) und ein PCIe-4.0-x16-Slot (x4 Lanes). Außerdem verfügt das ASRock W790 WS R2.0 über 8-Kanal-Sound, eine 10 Gigabit-LAN-Schnittstelle, eine 2,5 Gigabit-LAN-Schnittstelle, acht SATA3-Anschlüsse, ein U.2-Anschluss, vier M.2-Anschlüsse und eine Reihe an USB Schnittstellen.
